Responsible for maintaining Partnerships with Sponsors of Swissloop Tunneling

Overview

As a Partnership Manager, you seek new opportunities for potential sponsorships by contacting various interesting firms who either provide services we need or are willing to support us financially. An In-Kind-Sponsor is typically already active in a related technical field, and they can provide us with parts and other materials. They’re interested in our technical development and spinoff cases. A cash sponsor is interested in the marketing value our project provides and will support us financially. By establishing contact and building relationships with these companies, you ensure our operational future and are a key driver to our success.

The following requirements outline the optimal parameters we seek for this position. However, all of them can be learned or extended throughout your experience within the team. We encourage you to submit your application even if you don’t meet all the criteria. Your reliability, commitment, and passion for innovation are the most valuable traits we look for.

  • You will get the opportunity to participate in Elon Musk’s Not-a-Boring Competition, in March 2025

Workload

The expected workload is estimated to be around 6-8 hours per week, with approximately one or two hours dedicated to meetings and the rest to individual or group work. Apart from the fixed weekly team meeting, you will be able to completely dispose of the remaining time at your discretion (while respecting deadlines). While preparing for the competition, the workload may increase over a short period of time.

Workplaces

We provide an office and workplace in Zürich at ETH’s Student Project House (SPH) and EMPA in Dübendorf. From day one, you can work independently and take responsibility for your duties and deliverables.
