Traditionally, the month of August is exam season at ETH Zurich, which means that most of our engineers spent their time studying for them. Nonetheless, the Swissloop Tunneling team managed to get some work done.

On our electrical front, more checks and repairs of our old machine “Groundhog Beta” were performed, whilst the development of our software and control systems made good progress.
On the other hand, our mechanical team sent in more parts to our producers. A huge milestone in this regard was reached when all parts, which were bent or fabricated using a laser cutter, were finalized, allowing them to proceed to the next step in our manufacturing chain.
